We will pick you up at your hotel with our private transportation and travel for 1.5 hours to the starting point of the hike or Huyna Cancha from where we will start to climb for 2 hours to reach Mauk’allaqta, and the history says that on the mountain of Paqarectambo 12 leagues to the north of Cusco, they say that the 4 Ayar brothers appeared from a mountain called Tampu Tocco from where the four Ayar brothers with their respective wife’s, Ayar Manco, his wife Mama Ocllo, Ayar Cachi, his wife, Mama Cora, Ayar Uchu his wife Mama Rahua, and Ayar Auca his wife Mama Huaco.
They started to look for a fertile and prosperous land where to found Cusco city on the name of Wiraqocha God and the Sun. city that became the capital of Tawantinsuyo civilization, (impire of the four region of the Sun).
On the way to Cusco the valerous and strong man Ayar cachi did die, Ayar Uchu brother turned in to a rock on Huanacaury mountain which becomes one of the first sacred mountains to Cusco, Ayar Auka was converted in to a rock In Qoricancha the main Sun Temple to this civilization, finally Ayar Manco found Cusco city.
We will be able to explore and pas by the narrow streets, constructions that keep the mystery and sacredness of this Inca town, then having a deserve rest we will start to descend to take our transportation back to Cusco.
